LINUX FOR IRIS BOX PC INDUSTRIAL EMBEDDED COMPUTER

The family con IRIS BOX PC industrial embedded computers based on ARM arquitecture has recently added a new LINUX based version as an alternative to its standar Windows Compact Embedded based configuration that includes a complete set of development tools.

As one Distribution option, the new LINUX based IRIS BOX PC provides Embedded Linux BSPs based on the 100% Yocto Project. As distribution our layer uses the Yocto compatible Ångström distribution with the LXDE desktop environment provided by TORADEXÒ meta-lxde layer.

On the other hand, ISURKI can provide UBUNTU 14.0.4 based IRIS BOX PC units to those end users and developers familiarized with this enviroment.

In both cases, the interaction between the LINUX based application and the embedded industrial input & outputs TESDA board, for analog and digital acquisition and relays command, can be easily carried out by means of the different available functions.
